Safety. Prosperity. Integrity.

For All Of Us.

With an all-new system of government starting next year, we need experienced leaders who will champion the needs of our communities, build consensus, and find real solutions to the tough problems in our city. I am running to be your Councilmember to take on that work on behalf of the people of North and Northeast Portland.

I have dedicated my career to public service, including working for the City’s Community Safety Division, and have ensured community input is a part of the decision-making process. Outside of government service, I’ve volunteered for nonprofits supporting extracurricular academic programs, community sports and recreation, and supporting resilient communities. I have seen our government in action from all sides, and know how to get things done.

Portland is my home. I was born here, and I came home to serve this community - my community - by championing the voice of the people in public policymaking.

As a Councilmember, I will be a standard-bearer for Safe Routes to School and a sworn enemy of potholes. From expanding violence prevention efforts to ensuring everyone has a safe place to sleep, I will fight for a safer, more prosperous Portland – for all of us – and a government that earns the trust of the people.

It’s time to listen to the people.

Community knows what it wants:

  • An economy in which we can all thrive

  • Safety in our daily lives

  • A healthy environment to pass on to the next generation.

I have spent my time in public service increasing accessibility to decision-making processes on public safety, showing up at community events and meetings to hear from you, and bringing more people into the process of governance. I will bring your voices, your goals, and your stories with me to City Council to create a government that works for the people of Portland.
